CRUISE THE COURSE - OCTOBER 20th
After selling out all seats last year, we're exited to bring back our Cruise the Course Tour! As part of the Free Press Marathon weekend activities we will be bringing you a guided bus tour that will breeze you through approximately 20 miles of the 26.2-mile run in just an hour! Leaving from and returning to the Health & Fitness Expo on Saturday, October 20, there will be five available tour times: 11 a.m., 12:30p.m., 2:00p.m., 3:30p.m., and 5:00p.m.
This 1-hour tour will give you an insider’s perspective of Detroit’s rich history, current Renaissance and limitless future by showing you some of Detroit’s gems along the Marathon Course, including the Riverwalk, Belle Isle, Indian Village and Corktown. By the end of this tour you’ll have a greater understanding of what you’re leaving in the dust as you run by!
It's not just for runners, though! Family and friends can see what the runner will see, as well as learn about great vantage points for before, during and after the race.
